FAQ.

Is bacon low carb?

It depends. Don’t just reach for ANY bacon. Yes, bacon is a protein, HOWEVER, it is crazy important to look at the nutrition label. Many companies add SUGAR and various flavors to give a sweet flavor to the bacon. I like to use Applegate, Hormel Natural, and store-brands (I price compare).

Is bacon keto friendly?

As long as you choose a PLAIN bacon (with no added sugar), bacon fits perfectly on a keto plan.

I thought bacon was bad for me?

1 slice of bacon is between 50-70 calories and 5 grams of fat. Go ahead and have a few slices! For those needing low sodium selections, be sure to check the label.

I don’t need to use oil in this recipe?

Nope!
